Pleasing stay of Yana : Hotel staff takes great pride in their hotel. Comfortable, friendly, just what we had hoped for! We were greeted with a warm friendly welcome by the man at the front desk when we arrived which made a great first impression. The room was small for the two of us but worked out as it was only for one night. A week later we had a reservation for another night and was given a larger room. Both rooms had balconies and we didn't experience noise or any disturbances in the neighborhood (we were on the 6th then 5th floors). The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were meticulously clean. There was even a bathtub to my delight! Complimentary breakfasts, luggage storage, advice on places to visit in Athens (thanks Georgia!)... made this hotel experience pleasurable. It is obvious the staff takes great pride in their hotel. A great value, we recommend it and plan to stay again next time in Athens.

For sure the hotel is not the destination but the mean to reach (or stay) to it. And there are so many things in Athens to see. From the hotel we dare to say in walking distance everything: Museums, First Olympic Games stadium, Acropolis with Parthenon, National Archaeological Museum, Numismatic Museum, Parliament, Old neighborhood Plaka, Flea Market, Ancient Athenian Agora, Ancient Roman Agora, Museum of Attalus, The most ancient Theater of the world Dionysus, The Huge Temple of Olympian Zeus, The Handrian Library and the Hadrian Gate. So if you didn't catch them all we are waiting for you next time to accompany you even! See you back one day. We be remembering of you long time.

Great staff and great location. Don't listen to those who complain about it being "iffy." If you travel somewhere different where the culture varies from yours, you may feel uncomfortable; you don't know the area, the people, the culture. However, my cab driver did tell me to be careful at night. Not in the sense I will get stabbed as soon as I step foot outside, but in the sense that every town / city has its crime, I'm a tourist and could easily be picked out from a crowd of people. I would stay here again. (Tbh, I had zero [0] issues here. The people are friendly.) Access to bus stations, metro, cabs and everything is within walking distance. The breakfast was decent, but is on the lighter side (in case you're a large breakfast kinda guy.) Mini fridges are in the room, so simple foods can be stored away for later meals if you want something more later on. Hope you enjoy your stay here, I know I did. Great for a college student (like me), stopping by for a few days, or want something better on the affordable priced spectrum.

Pleasurable stay Ioana (RO) 2019-06-22 : Great value for money : Great value for money and very nice staff. The location is pretty good, very close to city center. Staff very nice The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Cristos and Georgia were very nice staff and the lady at breakfast. The room was clean even though could do with some modernisation, but that nothing to do with the staff who were very nice.

Barbara and Endy share a germ of happiness in Greece

or a small story of a smile and an ouzo!

Barbara and Eddy checked in at the EPIDAVROS ATHENS hotel late at night. ΄
Preceded e-mail communication with transfer request and details of arrival time. Everything turned out fine. Barbara and her husband enjoyed their stay over night. In the room everything was flawless. We saw them them in the morning at the restaurant happy having their abodant breakfast.
At the "good morning" charity, Barbara thanked us with a wide smile, which gave us to make a comment: "The best gift of the day for a man is his wife's morning smile and vice versa."
Communication started off beautifully and creatively.
We thanked them for choosing our hotel and explained to them the effort of the Management and staff to improve the quality of services and facilities in all areas.
The debate soon expanded to issues of tourism, business, Greek and touched a little on the families issues. On the occasion they confessed that today was a 30 year wedding anniversary!
Then the anniversary was rewarded with a gesture offer of a bottle 200ml of ouzo and the appropriate recommendations for enjoying it in a place (eg in front of the sea gazing at the small waves that disappear like the passage of life), in time (eg evening) and the way (eg. see recipe 2 ice cubes, amount of alcohol depending on male or female, water and snacks).
The meeting was recorded in digital format, ie a photo which was also communicated on the spot via an e-mail exchange!

Η Μπάρμπαρα και ο Έντυ έκαναν check in στο ξενοδοχείο EPIDAVROS ATHENS αργά τη νύχτα. ΄
Προηγήθηκε αλληλογραφία με αίτημα μεταφοράς και ώρα άφιξης και όλα εξελίχθηκαν μια χαρά.
Απόλαυσαν μία ωραία νύχτα. Στο δωμάτιο όλα ήταν άψογα.
Το πρωί τους συναντήσαμε στο εστιατόριο ευδιάθετους να χαίρονται το πλούσιο πρωινό τους γεύμα.
Στο χαρετισμό «καλημέρα» η Μπάρμπαρα μας ευχαρίστησε με ένα πλατύ χαμόγελο, το οποίο μας έδωσε αφορμή σχολίου: «το καλύτερο δώρο ημέρας για ένα άνδρα είναι το πρωϊνό χαμόγελο της γυναίκας του και το αντίθετο».
Η επικοινωνία ξεκίνησε όμορφα και δημιουργικά.
Τους ευχαριστήσαμε για την επιλογή του ξενοδοχείου μας και τους εξηγήσαμε την προσπάθεια που η Διοίκηση και το προσωπικό να βελτιώσει την ποιότητα των υπηρεσιών και των παροχών σε όλους τους τομείς.
Η συζήτηση επεκτάθηκε σύντομα σε ζητήματα τουριστικά, επαγγελματικά, ελλαδικά και άγγιξε λίγο τα οικογενειακά που με αφορμή τα τελευταία μας εκμυστηρεύτηκαν το γεγονός ότι την ημέρα αυτή είχαν επέτειο γάμου 30 ετών!
Στη συνέχεια η επέτειος επιβραβεύθηκε με την προσφορά ενός φιαλιδίου ούζου 200ml και τις κατάλληλες συστάσεις για απόλαυσή του σε τόπο (πχ μπροστά στη θάλασσα ατενίζοντας τα μικρά κυματάκια που σβήνουν όπως το πέρασμα της ζωής στη παραλία), σε χρόνο (πχ βραδάκι) και τρόπο (βλέπε συνταγή 2 παγάκια, ποσότητα αλκοόλ ανάλογα με το φύλλο, νερό και μεζεδάκια.
H γνωριμία / συνάντηση πέρασε σε digital μορφή δηλαδή φωτογραφία η οποία και μέσω ανταλλαγής ηλεκτρονικής διεύθυνσης κοινοποιήθηκε επί τόπου!

One night is very short to understand all compartments of our policy and hotel.
Area as an area has its own social problems.
But mind that it is an life open commercial area.
We can not close our eyes just to wish and strive to minimize some social problems.
Internally in the hotel all are spic and span and cannot be better.
Rooms are very correct other clients say it.
All things function correctly.
In special cases we ask help on the spot.
A space can be noisy or not following the standard of our psychical calmness.
